Our Coaches

Meet Our A-Town Coaches

Behind every A-Town athlete is someone cheering them on, challenging them to grow, celebrating their victories, and reminding them that they are capable of more than they may realize. Our A-Town coaches are an incredible part of what makes our Aurora Special Olympics community feel like family.

Many of our coaches are more than just coaches. They are parents, siblings, family members, friends, Unified Partners, and community members who have made the choice to invest their time and talents into athletes of all ages and abilities.

They show up to teach the rules of the game, develop skills, prepare athletes for competition, and help them become better at their sport. But what they give goes far beyond practices and competitions.

Our coaches build confidence. They encourage independence. They teach teamwork and sportsmanship. They celebrate the first successful throw just as loudly as the State gold medal. They laugh with our athletes, challenge them, believe in them, and sometimes become some of their biggest supporters both on and off the field.

At A-Town, we know that great coaches don’t simply build better athletes—they help build confident individuals, strong teams, lasting friendships, and an incredible community.

To every coach who chooses to invest in our athletes: thank you for showing up, believing in them, and being such an important part of the A-Town family.
